A big part of Far-out Fusion (And its sequels) will be the Spirit Sapphire. What is the spirit Sapphire? It's basically The Phantom Ruby Plus. It will have all of its power, but much more, too.

Its main features will be:

It can be used to create clones of living beings.

Its clones can be tangible, not just illusionary

When someone gets to a certain part in a video game, the Spirit Sapphire can be used to bring either enemies or bosses to life. These manifestations can be used for good or evil, it depends on who's wielding it at the time. If coming from a sprite-based game, they will be flat but with depth.

An alternate Multiversal Guardian version of myself, Mark Adams, retrieved it and hid it somewhere in his base of operations, not wanting another “Sonic Mania/Forces” Incident.

However, Mark’s best friend, Theo, driven mad by bullies that still picked on him even after graduating from school, finds it and after Mark fails to stop him, tells him that he plans to do EXACTLY what Scarlet Shine, the “villain” of the first game who tried to save the place she moved to, Ponyville, after it was taken over during the Friendship Festival and getting corrupted in the process did. Mark planned to stop him already, but Theo made the mistake of insulting his… unusualness, which makes him recruit Matthew, his cousin Denis, Twilight Sparkle (from the main universe), and Nyx to form another hero alliance, only this time, the alliance would be filled mostly with “ersatz”, “clone” & “pastiche” “characters”. Why not just get the original “characters”? His plan is to humiliate Theo as revenge for making fun of his... Unusualness.
