White Pointer
White Pointer by @becca (Sykotic Orka)

A front on drawing of a white pointer drawn sometime in 2000. The sunlight coming thru the water's surface looks a little bogus, but it was a quick drawing.

White pointers, also known as great whites (aka blue pointers in South Africa) are my favourite species of shark, yet the orca is still at the top of the list for my favourite animal species.

I respect sharks and I do not approve of the killing of such species. You go swimming in the ocean you do so at your own risk. Get bitten, it's your own fault, not the shark. 'Sides, sharks are vital to the ocean ecosystem, eating sick, old and dying fish and all manner of rubbish, organic or inorganic and it has been noticed that where there are sharks, there are very few sick, injured and dying fish swimming around.

Some species such as the white and tiger for example, will eat just about anything. Even people, if they want to.

OK, I'll get off my soapbox again.
