the 10-minute self-portrait
the 10-minute self-portrait by @PhyreLuck (Jennifer C)

Yeah, I needed to whip up something to turn in for my Drawing class: ta-da! The other portrait I was working on would've taken too much time, and I had other things to finish up too. So ten-minute crank-out it is! Of course, that's not to say that I was completely ignoring the quality. ;) Sketched with black conte on canvas, washed over with acrylic. Made for a really neat, gritty effect. I know the proportions are out of whack: small head, shoulder too low, hand too big. But it was still fun. :) And yesh: mah hair is really long. Been growing it out to donate to Locks of Love (http://www.locksoflove.org/).
Also working on incorporation of my watermark... spent so much time developing it, yet I often forget to put it in there (bad, aspiring artist, bad!)
