The Bursar thinking- Because perspective is a lie, of course. If a pond is roud, why draw it oval?

Ahhhh. True logic at last. So, if a wolf has two eyes, a long snout, and four legs, who's to argue?

In the same book, the cave paintings that seem primative yet are drawn to resemble a kangaroo, inside, outside, past and present, and all the potentail of kangarooness that hasn't yet happened.

So, why should a drawing be restrained to one moment in time, one pose, one emotion?

A drawing of what a wolf is, rather than what a wolf looks like. Thats the essential of it.

I admit, the anatomy, the muscle, and everyhting else is wrong, but I'm no expert. The gold is what's important to the wolf, because without the wolf's input it's just a drawing of a wolf, rather than a wolf.

Does that make as much sence as it did in my head?

It's not a finished peice. I intend to complicate it so thoroughly you'll have to think real hard to even know what it is. For now, enjoy the effect of too much Terry Pratchett.
