Central Television (1955) by @WestKnightTV (West Knight)
What if Central started broadcasting in 1955, instead of 1982? How would the presentation on screen be any different? Let's go on a trip into a different future, and you'll see...
Central started as Associated Broadcasting Company, a name which the North-cum-Midlands weekend franchisee ABC disagreed. ATV was considered, but it was rejected for lacking regional commitment. So, Central (Independent) Television was born, and the first ident in 1955 featured the familiar sphere (in full), as well as a three-note motif intended to go with ATV.
