I made this little doodle a while back while wondering what Inuyasha would look like as a full youkai. I didn't want him to have an outfit or a mokomoko (aka "The Fluff) like Sesshoumaru. I just wanted Inuyasha, as he usually is... only youkai. It's not much difference, but it satisfied my curiosity. And, I needed to get out my Prismacolor pencils again. So, there you go.

Shippou looks at the night sky, thinking of his father.

This actually started as practice for making starfields, following the tutorial by Greg Martin. Then, it grew into this. This is my first posted image created entirely in the computer, Shippou sketch and everything. There are still things about Shippou and the grass in particular that I'm not happy with... but I can't put my finger on the problem and I've been toying with it for days. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

This has been a really frustrating piece for me. I've been working on it as a potential piece for my portfolio (now, there's a laughable idea) for the last several weeks. I'm starting to view it more as a learning experience than something I'll ever want in the portfolio. But, at least it is good for that much, and I do still like the concept behind it.

However, I'm rather stumped as to the handling of the water and sky. I've been told both that the sky needs to be darker and more threatening and that it needs more color. I'm not at all sure how to balance those two notions and any suggestions would be welcomed.

Lil' Byte, originally created to be a pseudo-CyberKat trojan program to infiltrate Dark Kat's lair, snuggles the raccoon that plagues the MBI's donut supply. He may have finally met his match. Hmm... I feel like you should be able to see some of his "hand" or at least more of his arm/front leg there coming out from under Byte's arms... but I'm not sure where.
