This was an assignment that I had in the middle of the year. It's scratchboard (you scratch the black away with a little tool till it becomes white). It took a long time to do all the individual hairs. Bleh.

From a photograph of a tree in winter. It's in Alpine National Park in Victoria, Australia. Done completely in watercolor. The image classification says finished, but knowing me I'll probably work on it some more at school. Sorry for the scan line.

This is Orlando Bloom in a 2002 issue of YM, so it's fairly old. I don't really like it as much as I used to. Maybe that's a sign of some artistic growth.
