Presenting: Changes the Bowie Chameleon! :D When I first heard David Bowie's song "Changes", the chorus somehow brought to mind this little guy. It was done rather quickly, thus the bad inking, but I love it so much nonetheless. Done with pen, paper, and Photoshop.

This pic goes along with my opinion that Samara/Sadako is the result of a human/supernatural union, and that she's nothing but a demonic force in the guise of a child. The mask is symbolic of that. I think her feet are a tad awkward-looking. Hmm.

Samara from "The Ring", while she was locked up in her hospital room, never sleeping, always awake. The whole idea creeped me out, so I drew it. Drawn in Faber-Castell pens.

A Circe-type sorceress I made up one day. The horns are meant to be like faerie horns, a symbol of good, not evil. I how her hair turned out.

I like Evo-Kurt for his kidishness and such, but something always struck me about Kurt from the original storyline and how he was abandoned, adopted, etc. It's a very sad but very good story, especially for a classic superhero (Batman being #2 next to Kurt). No Chrisitian am I, but still, there was something about original, god-loving Kurt that I loved.
So, yesterday I drew and inked a pic of young Kurt, living in Germany, sitting in a church. This is, of course, after he's adopted by Margali (a circus sorceress) and taught in the church. Isn't he so innocent and cute (and perhaps a little timid)? ^_^; I'll try coloring it on Photoshop or Painter soon enough.
Yes, I know the pew legs are at an odd angle, seves me right for drawing them without a ruler. ^_^; And the latin words under the window in the BG mean "Save Us". Artwork © Copyright 2003 Caroline Cronshaw Additional Credits: Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler © Marvel Comics

I love Alan Moore's "Promeathea" series to absolute metaphysical bits. Everyone should read at least one issue of this breathtaking comic book. I tend to like Promethea's second costume better than her first (the helmet/circlet thing kinda bugged me), after she passes through Binah.
For those who haven't read it, during one arc of the story, Promethea actually makes her way up the Tree of Life (aka Systema Sephiroticum, Kabbalah, etc... Evangelion fans will know what that is), stopping at each sphere. In the sphere Binah she discovers more secrets about the nature of God and the universe, plus she gets a costume change. Pretty nifty stuff. Artwork © Copyright 2003 Caroline Cronshaw
