Oru-in

Forced myself to draw since I haven't had anything else to do while I've been sick. I didn't want to mess with the lighting in this one, despite having ~magic hand~ over there.
There used to be glowing red eyes up top (hence the large empty space), but I couldn't make them work like I wanted, so they were trashed.

Oru-in doesn't dress as flashy as other oracles because she has no one to impress but herself.

I finally coloured it! Yay! I changed the colours so many times that finally I just left it as it is now...it was originally warmer, with oranges and warmer purples and gold...now it's brown...and purple...and....o.0


Demeter, one of my oldest characters. She's from....what....2001? 2002? Maybe 2003. Can't remember.

MM RED. TASTYGOOD.

Uh...what else was I supposed to put here. Oh yes. Symbols.

The candle. Her mother is the Angel of Inward Journeys. Magic floaty candle as homage for lighting the way...yeah?

The overwhelming amount of red. Well, she isn't a heavenly deity. She chose to remain on Earth, rejecting Heaven and what it stands for. And she's probably killed people. Red.

The dress? IDK it seemed like a good idea at the time. Yes, I chose not to colour in any eyes. Leaving them dark lets you imagine that they're either closed, or that you can't tell if she's looking at you.

Now, if I can just apply myself like this to the rest of the tasks. I doubt it.

Fizban.

Sixth request is finally finished. Fizzy took me quite a while during colouring, mainly cause I'm lazier than who knows what.

However, finishing the colouring, now that's a load off. Only four more to go then, eh. All good, all fun...

~tamesr's Fizzy. He's a very monochromatic person who tends to blend into the background, and in Tab's words 'make it seem as if the background is the focal point rather than himself'.

And he's magical. Betchu he borrowed the glowy magical book from Nassau, though.

Absalom and Aris.


Oooooookay. So, colouring this took all day, mainly because I'm easily distracted...by youtube, forums, tv and the bird. Nonetheless, this SOB is finished. Dunno if I like it coloured....I'm sorta fond of the lineart...

Anyhoo. As y'all may or may not know, Absalom (Mr. Evil britches seen en left) is my villain for 'the story'. Lol, ~tamesr, now I know why you said it reminded you of ElfQuest...Absalom looks like a male Leetah that dresses like Jafar! Dangit...

Aris is Ab's servanty person. The kingdom that is Ab's base used to be ran by Aris's famileh. Ab killed them, took over the place and raised Aris to use him as a double. Sure, you can see lots of differences side by side, but to people who've never seen Absalom, or have only heard rumours of fiery hair and emerald eyes, it'd be surprisingly hard to tell the two "apart" when Aris is in costume.

Besides being a life insurance policy and a personal servant, Absalom has also "entrusted" (and I use the term lightly...more like superglued, lol) his phylactery to Aris, which pretty much renders him immortal. And powerful, thanks to his heritage....with a heaping helping of mind-blowing crazy, thanks to...being a whack-job >_>.

I suppose you could read that Ab's the dominant one from the slanted middle line....but that's just my inability to draw straight. The only conscious 'symbolic' choices were the colours (red, black and gold vs red, white and gold) and the mask behind Aris's head, done in Ab's colours. I guess to signify he's always watchin, lawl.

Uhhhhhm, dunno what else to say. It's 3am....I'm outta here.

I was bored and I wanted to draw Odele again cos she wears easy outfits and I like her hair extension things.

It's hard to draw when your arm hurts for no reason :C That's the reason for the wiggly lines.

I like the green drape. That's about it. Her eyes and mouth are probably the worst parts; the eyes dont match up and her mouth looks like a bee sting >.< I dunno what's up with the mouths recently. I have to change that to something more befitting.

The pic isn't bad, but it's not the best. Practice, perfect, you know the drill.

They have different insignias because they are maternal cousins. Which, in their naming system shouldn't make that big of a difference, but I feel like contradicting myself today because I can.
