“Where’s your uniform?” Aaron asked after he was halfway into the office.

“Uniform?”

“The uniform you’re not wearing.” Aaron pushed the desk drawer back in and tapped a cigarette out of the pack.

Zyrix shrugged. “No idea.”

Aaron lit it and took slow drag. He turned the chair around to face the back wall, not caring for the company but Zyrix didn't leave. After some time he broke the silence. "You should get your uniform out of the trash before it creases. You won't want to iron it out later."

Zyrix ignored his advice and lifted himself up onto the desk. The large television screen hanging from the wall lit up the room. It was showing the OAS’s news broadcast on mute, just like the secretary’s in the other room but Aaron was more interested in watching the floor.

“What’s the point of you guys keeping this on all the time if we know what the OAS is up to?”

His answer was Aaron raising his cigarette. Zyrix grinned. Aaron’s nervous habits were getting worse the more he pushed. He leaned in closer and put his weight on the chair’s arm to keep from falling over. Only Aaron’s eyes acknowledged him but it was enough to know he had the human’s attention, even if it was out of annoyance.

“This,” his hand landed on Aaron’s head, “is a brain sucker.”

“Is that so?”

“You know what the problem is with this one?”

“Its food cannot travel from your hand to your head?” Aaron pushed back the chair and got to his feet. “Get dressed. Your assignment briefing’s in one hour.”

The Kumori casually grabbed the cigarette out of Aaron’s hand and stabbed it out on the manila folder. “I’m going out. The smell of recycled air is making me sick.”

I’m so relieved to be finally done with this that I’m posting part of the scene. Don’t expect me to do this again. I’m sure I’ll regret it later but I didn’t want to ruin it with speech bubbles. Anyway, this is the first drawing I’ve worked with in OpenCanvas. I lined it in there but it wasn’t very happy with me when the layer count got high so I switched back to Photoshop to color. Suggestions on both the art and writing are welcome (and I know about Zyrix’s legs *face palm*).

I ended up mirroring this so Lothar’s accessories are flipped. I think it has something to do with reading left to right but eh, I’ll sacrifice character design for a good composition. I really wanted to backlight this but between winging the leather pants and the player’s interface I lost it T_T Perhaps the next one I do I’ll draw with backlighting in mind. ^_^

Lothar: WTF. I can't shoot with my left.
Sevino: It doesn’t make any difference. You’re sans gun at the moment so quit whining.
Lothar: *broods*

Eh, sorry for condensing three paragraphs of text into speech only. I’ve planned on doing this scene for the past few months I just never got around to doing it. So, here it is. Please, before anyone hangs me for the stones all being the same, it’s a national cemetery. Lothar/Scry’s father was still in Akheron’s military when their mother was in an “accident” or so the OAS puts it. Also, epitaphs would require giving away the timeframe and I’m not about to do that so blank stones all around.

The thing in his hand is the earring I’ve been intentionally drawing him with since ‘99. The scene where Kryito leaves it for him just happens to be drawn in 2004.

I was so angry with this on Sunday but everything is okay now. /eats background & Sevino’s face/

I’m done giving plot summaries because the information in the last two pictures involving the Oneiroi are pretty much void now. Sevino is still looking for Erebos and Moloch is still the director of ESKE but other than that, forget everything I’ve said about the corporation and the Oneiroi.

OAS = Office of Akheron Security
ESKE = Norse for “spear of the gods.”
The corporation pin is on the other side of his shirt. I haven’t decided if I like its name yet :D Speaking of that, if you have any names for an “evil” (in a 1984 we know everything evil) corporation, feel free to send it to me^^ Props will be given if I use it.

One of the more empty hallways, though it is quite dangerous at the same time because if the sealant on the windows weren’t there he’d be fried. In the future, when the sun is no longer you’re friend. ::sighs::

A little trick that Lothar learned was that thick chokers block the jacks in the back of his neck. Nice to know when you’re snoozing and you need all the reaction time you can get.

Scry has drawn a new character! Male? Female? I'm…not quite sure. You can blame me for drawing female hips and confusing you. I am planning on keeping 'it' as a normal character so name suggestions are welcome^^

I love the little buildings. I love them good.

Plague used to be glaring at Mr. Fuzzy Bunny who was at eye level with him biting his tail but FB's head angered me. I need to do more drawings of him....By the way, that fence is pure line tools and blurring X_X

Zyrix making himself at home: Let’s move this table here. Put the boots there. Steal some of Moloch's booze. Oh I'm sorry was this yours? *ahem* I mapped out Moloch's condo too so instead of looking at something random you now have a nice view of an extremely bare kitchen and an uber window ;p

The bottom has been chopped off. Resizing at the height killed the faces.
