This sat unfinished for years until I started work on it again a few days ago. The original sketch was done in 2009. I had to redo so much of it to get it to a point I was happy with. I had been trying something new with it, I think, and it wasn't working as I'd hoped. Managed to salvage it, though, and I like the results!

Air pirate. She was a naked air pirate for a long time, while I was trying to figure out her clothes.
Had to draw the gun five times before I got it right. It was either too small, too messy, too bent. But I'm finally happy with it. I used a Colt "Peacemaker" pistol as a reference.
And I know it doesn't look like much now, but that is a telescope in her right hand. Really. It'll look better once this thing's coloured... I hope.

I've been jumping all over the place with different styles since getting my new tablet yesterday. Still just playing around, trying to get used to it and to a point where I think I've got the hang of it enough to colour the drawing I'm /almost/ finished.
Haven't quite got the hang of hair. I think higher contrast would've had a better result.

There was a huge flock of birds flying in front of the moon, for at least half an hour. I took several photos, but there was little else of interest in that area of the sky (not even a decent cloud!) to bother uploading any of the others. This was about the most interesting I managed.
