This is an in promptu drawing done in less than 2 hours. It was variably accompanied of expressions "I like how this is turning out!" quickly followed by "Gah! How will I possibly correct this slip-up!" as I did it completely in ball point pen. It was supposed to be a Cryolophosaurus but , alas, the skull is too low, hence the 'oid' termination.
A glorified pencil doodle I did a few years ago during breaks on my summer job at a supermarket. It's basically a variation on theropod skull anatomy with very marked heterodonty. I coined the fictional name Sorecodon centratus to designate this feisty little creature.
This was a reject I found months ago in a pile of old drawings. Redid the concept and worked during a whole day in the texturing and shading of this. I like the result though I don't like the concept itself. This was done in sucessively harder pencils on an old sheet of paper so I had to do a bit of digital editing to turn this into a grayscale and to erase dirty bits that showed up in the scan.
