ummm...k this wasn't oringinally supposed to look so incredibly girly...the original is more into lavender hues but the prints (that this is scanned from) added more pink to the beige and laveneder combo in the shading.

This pearlescent looking pony was layered over and over with colour to get that fantastic colour! I really had fun! The color itself helps to define the full round build without too much shading work to distract from the magickal feel.

The drawing was originally just an inked sketch but I added the celtic knotwork intot he background becasue I felt it needed a little soemthing extra and I think it worked. Its a light and airy piece that I think would look great in a pretty little bedroom!

There are five prints of this piece for sale. The actual prints are nicer than the scan. Very rich and not as rough as the scan makes it look. The prints will be very affordable so just email me for more info!

This lovely Gryphon was a collaboration between two photo references. His head is based off of a white tailed eagle and the coloration is from a black and green tanager.I love the way his beak turned out! that nice kinda matte yet shiny feel!

I didn't fuss too much over feathering and shading, on purpose, because I wanted it to be all about the color and pattern.

The original pic is less tealy and more greeny but my printer does not handle pencil crayon so the scan is of a print. the prints I have made tend to be slightley higher contast so the colours really do pop! Its a nice effect for pencil crayon but doesn't work well for watercolour. LOL!

I have five prints of him up for sale right now! all look the same as the scan ...well better really! lots of depth and they just seem to GLOW! Email me for info about buying. They will be very affordable!

My original mustang drawing for horseland. It gave rise to the whole hand drawn pic craze on horseland (go fig...it was just a doodle to start LOL)

I didn't bother to ink this one so it still has a neat sketchy look to it and I love the dark grullo colouring!

The backgroud is purple to appear clear on horseland.com

anyways I'm having some problems right now with art theft on horseland though. somebody stole a bunch of my pics so I'm giving them a warning. If you play onhorseland watch out for player #1538403! better yet help stick up for me and my rights as an artist!

This is Siskabo one of my B.C. Mustangs from horseland.com. He's a lovely sorrel appy stud but he's more nervous than the rest of my stallions.

The lineart was sketched first and then inked and scanned. I coloured it in photoshop...didn't take too long cuz of all the practicing lately from commisions on HL. I love the slatey greyish bluish green eyes. That really only happens in champagne coloured horses but I fudged it for somthing special on him "n_n" V

The background is purple, not cuz I like it but becasue the horseland background is the same purple so it looks clear cuz the site doesn't support clear background. despite everything I've tried they appear white instead.

I was going to give him solid legs at first with small sock but themn I though, meh, why not go for the gusto! added some lace to em and some ermine spots and hoofstriping and he becomes a flashier kind of appy! YAY!

PLEASE COMMENT! I really want feedback on what people think :D

*huff puff* must...finish...drawing...GAH!

Actually its almost done and I intend to get a few prints made to sell once its fully finished. The scan is good qulaity but pencil crayon really loses its beauty when scanned. it gets all rough looking and looks sloppier than it is. note the upper right corner of the purple background- the black shading is full and soft in real life not sharp and disconnected. The border is also nice and smoothly blended but the scanner makes it look choppy. Not very flattering. I hope that I dont have these same problems on a print.

I'm goingt o work more on the purple background...I wish I had done the halter completly red now that I look at it but I really like the colour combo of the halter itself its just getting a little lost in that background. Ah well... still pretty!

any feedback or suggestions? comment!

ALPACAS! Another one of the cutest animals in the world! Someday I want a big huge farm so that along with all the other animals I love I can keep a paddock of these sweet little things!

anyways onto the pic...

This is a pencil drawing of an alpaca cria (cria is what ya call baby alpacas and llamas... like how a calf is a cow and a foal is a horse) I found it kind of difficult because the fibre is meant to be clipped and its tought to get that freshly clipped look to such thick fibre!
forgive the cruddy scan, the pic is from a hard cover sketchbook so its really tough to get a an even scan and editting will tear up the image

I will eventually cut the page out so that the pic can be framed and matted and I am considering getting prints made for sale but I'm not sure yet.

COMMENT! ME LOVE COMMENTS!
(if you don't I will be sad and hide in my basement crawlspace feeding crackers to the wolf spiders that I call my fuzzy biting babies)

I don't know why I like burros but I sure do and this little guy is just so cute! *huggles*

Only took me bout fifteen minutes too....nice when that happens isn't it!

Drawn in pencil in my sketchbook (hence the cruddy scan) I'm going to cut the page out eventualy so that I can do some framing and matting. I might also get prints made if there is any interest. Comment and tell me what ya think! I try to reply as best I can! :D

I drew this one for a Spanish project and it turned out really nice! It's also bigger than my normal drawings so thats pretty cool. I was stupid though and let the paper get folded in half.

Anyhoo its a pic of modern day Macroura(goes by the name Christina) dressed up gothy for no real reason at all...I was just in that kinda mood. (i'm a cute goth type so yeah...its not all that spooky just pretty and sweet...and black.... I like her with the blue eyes!

And Yaaaaaaay! I finally got a new scanner! much much better quality than the last. It shall serve me well!

Anyhoo I doodled up this pic of Macroura with her wings out. I dunno...maybe this'll be her grad dress or sumthin...I just think it loos pretty! It looked kinda weird until I realized I forgot to giver her a shadow LOL! I was wondering why she was flaoting with her wings not moving at all....

A bisque piece inspired by "The Mouse Knight" stories by Cutter Hays. I'm not sure what colour to paint it as though so I think I'll go to the experts on the RMCA forums. I love the chubby little face!

Using the "displacement maps" photoshop tutorial on the polycarbon website (http://www.polykarbon.com) I transoformed my old line art kyre pic into this beauty! I didn't bother sticking to kyres actual complexion obviously but I think she looks better this way with her lovely new african print outfit! I highly recommend the tutorials on this website. they're easy to understand and will help make your art look like amazing! (at least that my review) so once again, here's "not quite kyre"

FINALLY! photoshop is up again so I've finally uploaded it! This is the entire watercolour drawing (aquarells) of Daniel the Dalmation from It's Walky! He's my fave character and I just had to do a nice pic of him since he's only ever been a cartoon. I had my pinscher Puck act as a stand-in while I was sketching so He's a bit wirey for a dal but whatever! cute cute!

a close up headstudy from my aquarell drawing of Daniel from Its Walky.this one took forever to get the sketch of becasue I used my ADHD german pinscher Puck as a live model and he has just recently learnt the command "splat" (thats "lay down" to all you who don't speak the language of the idiot dog) anywhoo so now it's a very thin pinscher like version of Daniel. I wi;ll be doing a second version of this from the original sketch. It will be a finished drawing of puck since my family like the sketch of him (I had to all the tail for dniel and colour it spotted instead of black and mohogany) if you think this is cute check out the It's walky comic by David Willis and see what it's all about-> www.itswalky.com
