| Maybe I've been staring at it for too long, but I'm kinda meh about it. I tried really hard on the coins, spent at least a week on them to the point at which I would shut my eyes at night and see coins in my head. Anyway the whole thing is in marker and colored pencils except the border and copywrite notice which was added in photoshop. |

| Finally finished this. I tried to practice with line weight and was careful with light/shadow. One of my better shading jobs I think. |

Just wanted to upload the sketch before I start the coloring process. It's nice to have the line work on file. The gold coins are proving to be daunting but I'm determined not to cheat and draw every coin.

My interpretation of an african pied crow, done as a gift for my mother, I'm prety happy with how it turned out, though I think I would've left myself more space for the pinks and purple on the chest area next time. Scan washed this out abit, can't really see the detailing I did on the feet, it's subtle in the original but it shouldn't look completely black like it does here. Anyway media = Tria markers and micron pen.

This is a birthday present for my friend. It's suppose to a magical orb thingy holding the pisces fish. I had to do some research to draw this picture since I'm not too familiar with fish anatomy. These fish are loosely based on cichlid's, the coloring is of my own invention and the fins have been stylized quite a bit.

My head aches, my hand hurts, and two Prisma Markers died, but here it is, I've finally finished it. I seem to have some sort of obsession with coloring only in marker lately, I need to relearn how to use marker and colored pencils together. Sad to think you can achieve the same effect in photoshop with a fraction of the effort... but at least my picture exists not just on a computer!
