Malcolm Talbot Walthew is a 32-year-old, male kangaroo at 6ft. 11in., 350lbs from Australia. The IPA's 2nd demolitionist, he's much like his counterpart Francisco Enrique Rodriguez, except that Malcolm's specialty is rocketry whereas Francisco's is pyrotechny. Also, like Ethan Trent Baird and Vladimir Mikhail Chesnokov, Malcolm has formal, military experience.

At first, Malcolm didn't want to join the military as he was a carefree, rebellious motorcyclist back when he was a young adult. He didn't have an education since he didn't go to school enough to make it worthwhile and without a fight with other people, his family didn't like him nor the military, and since he fell in love with a good woman after many a bad relationship and became a husband, there wasn't any other way to better support their marriage.

After he put a good amount of effort and time in the service with a high reputation in excellent combat performance, he got out and felt the need to get an education, but the attempt met failure as he couldn't pass anything no matter his attendance, effort and hardihood, and with the lack of a good job and pressure in his marriage from his wife and her desire for children and previous lack of time with him and worry for his safety, he fell back on his motorcycle and past drug habit for solace.

A call from Vladimir for recruitment into the IPA gave Malcolm a better financial opportunity of which he took, but lead to a bitter split between him and his wife, although it wasn't an official divorce. A check is sent to her every month as he felt that he should at least still assist her a little more after what he put her through, but it's a common struggle in his mind as to whether or not he should just consider his marriage a loss and let her go. It's a tough call for him to make because he can't remember much in his life when he was told he did something right.

In the IPA, Malcolm's sheer mass and gruff appearance is prone to intimidate as his aggression in combat will outright terrify, but his occasional pessimism and self-depreciation does carry a hint of internal pain and sensitivity. He's easy to get along with however, and does make a conscious effort to keep an image of a veteran for the rest of his team.

Note: The weapon on his shoulder is for the most part an RPG-7 (Rocket-propelled Grenade) whereas the other is a MGL-140 (Multiple Grenade Launcher) offshoot. Also, his body armor is an IOTV (Improved Outer Tactical Vest) offshoot.

Fun Fact: Malcolm's appearance had a bit of influence from Left 4 Dead's character, Francis.
