And for anyone wondering, that's a klipspringer (it's a kind of antelope). Saw it while flipping through a book on African animals and decided that I had to draw one. This was the result.

A fellow artist asked for help with muzzles, so I doodled this up. On the left is a psuedo-realistic lioness (shows off my nonTLK leonine muzzle style); in the middle is a Nala clone; and on the right is a wolf in my style.
The rough body sketch of a cheetah is there because she also wanted a critique on legs.

See, this is what happens when I'm angry: Ng're'a manifests as my temper (ah, art therapy). What spawned this bout of bad feelings was my brother. I won't go into detail, but it was his own friggin' fault that he had done everything but what he was supposed to be doing all day, not mine. Plus, five minutes waiting for me to finish up was *not* going to kill him. Gah! >.<

A Halloween pic. And, yes, it's TLK; the Elephant Graveyard has the perfect atmospheric conditions for Halloween, so why not? Scar's costume was actually inspired by what my English teacher wore last year, 'cept he had horns. He really liked that cape, though,...perhaps a little *too* much. And don't worry excessively about poor Ed; it's not like there's much up there to hurt, you know. ;D

M'kay, this might not make much sense to nonTLK fans (or even to fans who don't participate in the fandom much). See, there is this much contested idea that Scar had this really good and sweet side (commonly referred to by his birthname Taka) that his evil side (Scar, since that's what he was called when he killed Mufasa and decimated the Pride Lands) just sort of squelched. This has spawned some nasty arguments (think the Star Trek debates over who the better captain is x.x ), so, as is typical for me, I poked some fun at the issue. And, for the record, I myself don't personally like the idea of good side/bad side. It just sounds so...schizophrenic.
