Early to mid-1998. When I first heard about what happens to Unit Two in The End of Evangelion, and as I heard it was "the eva series eats unit two and asuka becomes the new eve", I tried to imagine how such a site would look. When I bought a Eva 05 REAL MODEL in Manhattan for $20, I made this picture of the 5's beating the poop out of Unit Two, smacking away its Progressive Box Cutter and tearing its limbs off.

Note the 4 comical Xs for eyes.

Dino Riders Dedication was a warning; you WILL be seeing more Dino Riders art from me, old, older, and maybe new! I did some re(search) and learned that there was absolutely no Dino Riders presence anywhere on the archive. I aim to change that.

Let's bring it back to the oldskool, baby! Journey back to the year 1988, with this 'successful' pencil drawing of LORD KRULOS, leader of the baddies! You know, 14 or so years ago, this looked perfect to me, but last night, I realized how, ah...reversed should I say, his lips are! Heh! Check out the more recent Dino Riders picture for a small idea of how I would draw him in this day and state of skill.

I also tossed in some text in there, to put things into perspective and pay homage to everyone's and no one's favorite maniacal, suited frog-dude.

DINO RIDERS!!!

I've loved dinosaurs since childhood, so you could imagine my excitement whenever someone said Dino Riders...

Back in the late 80s, Dino Riders was THE STUFF!!! Gigantic Terrible Lizard armed to the teeth with armor plating, buzzsaws, omnilasers, broad side rockets, and trilasers!!!
I'm currently embracing the philosophy that if theres ANY old cartoon that needs to be remade, either into a live action film or as a remastered series, it NEEDS to be Dino Riders!!! I mean, look at ZOIDS. They were released in 1993 in light of the Dinomania spurred by Jurassic Park.

This here's a little sketch I recently did during a train ride, showing a fully armed and active T-Rex and Lord Krulos, leader of the Rulons!!!

Harness the Power...1987...2002...
