...they cracked the dragon's egg open. the infant dragon within it opened it's eyes just in time to see the blade cut into her chest. they grabbed her dead body and placed it in a golem prison they had created for just this purpose - to trap a dragon's soul with in the armor to create a pet, and a guardian for the emperor.
