Eowyn IS the best and I will personally challenge anyone who dares say otherwise!!! She's like me but cool--I mean, we both have swords and know that Aragorn is ... well, cute. :) This is a really nice picture, i like the paper you used for it and the pose is too awesome! You drew her hair really well too--it looks slightly tossled, which believe me is how your hair looks when you're busy playing with your swords! (don'tyouDAREmakethatcommentdirty!)

Wow, this is awsome! I personally didn't like the movie Eowyn, she was all-"Aragorn I want to shag you right now" like. I need to get my books back so I can read Return of the King. I luff her lips, btw XD

Eowyn kicks arse! I actually did like her in the movie, and this pose reminds me of when she was moving through forms and Aragorn snuck up behind her and she still managed to block him. Very cool. Again with the ghosty image thing. This one is just below her right arm. I actually kind of like it just as it is, though, without any color. Usually I'm not a fan of black and white, but in this one, it just works.

This is a beautiful picture of her. I love the detail on the sword and her outfit. And for once she doesn't look old and haggard cuz that's what people normally do and in the book she's quite youthful. This definitely captures her youth and innocence but she also has an edge.

another one of my fav characters! Aragorn should have ended up with her and not the stay-at-home Arwen But once again Beautiful work I especially love how you captured both her Feminine and Knight-like sides

Eowyn has always been one of my favorite characters. She looks terrific. Her posture shows how comfortable with a blade she is. Now you should draw a picture with her and Faramir- if you've read Return of the King you'd understand.

It's really interesting, how fantasy-style costumes are all sort-of period costumes. With the lacing up and the V shape on the bottom of the bodice, it almost looks 18th century, then it's got those great bell sleeves that make it fantasy =)

Her posture seems very natural, she's not stiff at all or anything. I find it really hard to draw "natural" looking people.

I really like the image and thought Eowyn looked very much at home with the sword. The picture captures the strength, beuaty and sadness of Eowyn. You should draw one with her and Faramir :)

All I have to say: Its going to be VERY funny to see Miranda Otto act like Dernhelm! HA HA! Great action drawin, by the way. Love it.

Eowyn is totally one of my favorite literary characters...of all time. anytime i do anything cool (which is rare) i simply say its all part of being a woman of Rohan. Your style is awesome Maggie! Keep it up!

I love Eowyn's outfit and her hair!! She is one of the coolest characters in Lord of the Rings, especially since their are so many guys. I'd love to see her with Faramir by the Houses of Healing. Great drawing!!

Wonderful drawing! I love the detail on the dress and hair. Eowyn looks very determined; I really wouldn't want to cross her when she's looking as she does here! Keep up the great work.
