Captain of Gondor
Captain of Gondor by @magsby (Maggie Bradshaw)

It's sopposed to be faramir, but it needs a LOT of work. I absolutly loved him in the books (not in the movie..they made him such a jerk) but I just kind of made this up as a went...I didnt quite remeber what he looked like or what he wore..oh well Artwork © Copyright 2003 Maggie Bradshaw

I wouldn't worry about it not looking like him. Before I even scrolled down to see your note, I said, "Yep, that's Faramir." He looks a bit thinner than I imagine him to be, but his face is fabulous and I love the posing.

I agree with the book versus the movie incarnation of him. I don't remember him being nearly such an arse in the books. SPOILER! If you haven't read Return of the King, don't read the rest of this note.

I totally can't see the movie Faramir ending up with Eowyn. That's just not right. Faramir's supposed to be all noble and brave and whatnot, and the movie makes him look even worse than Boromir! Grr. Okay, I'm done ranting now. Fabulous pic!!!

Excellent Job! I totaly agree with you they slaughterd Faramir in the movie which got my blood boiling. I love Faramir in the books he's one of my favorite characters I got very disapointed with what they did to him. David Wenham was perfect as Faramir though if they just had writin his part differnt. You did an amazing job on him though I love the unshaven part.

I completely agree (about your views on Faramir) I always thought of him as Borimirs better half ^_^ anyway Lovely work I cant wait to see it finished

Wonderful... I think you gave him a really noble face. I like your pic of Eowyn as well. I'd love to see you do more of these in the future.
