Whooo! I love your color sense (especially in her skintone), and your way of portraying anatomy. Good linework, too...

:D What can I say? I like it!

This picture is amazing! I love the lighting, the pose, everything! I hope to one day become as good as you with coloring pieces as great as this. Maybe we could hook up and talk about art or maybe even do a collab piece. Once again, this is a great work and keep up the good work!

Hey, spiffy! I love the pose and the entire summery feeling. Is this a picture of your Gaia avatar? I recognize the clothes.
(btw - LOVE the skin shading and the background textures!)

Congrats on being Artist of the Day. I can see why you'd pick this piece as your sample image--the colors are really amazingly lovely. I like the way the shading is soft and warm. It really does feel like the end of summer in this pic. The little weeds in the cracks of the stairs really adds to this pic--as does the way you used different textures on the bricks and stairs. I really like how the background is kind of fuzzy--it helps to emphasize the main character in the pic. The butterfly is a cute touch as well. Man, I have nothing negative to say about this pic. Good job!

Thanks! You have no idea how great it is to not only hear that someone LIKES your work, but also WHY they enjoy it! Your observation for both the overall and subtle detail of the piece is extraordinary and I only have the utmost gratitude for the time you spent, it's really a great motivation to hear what works in a picture!

I absolutely love this picture. The soft colors give it a summer feeling and a very relaxed mood. Her eyes make her look like a cat, especially the way she is looking at that butterfly, makes her lok lke a kitten about to pounce and catch the thing, great expression of emotion. I like her hair, prett highlights and it falls nicely around her face. I guess it's just me, but she looks bigger around the bottom, like her hips are wider then her shoulders, either that, or I misinterpreted the perspective. You also did an amazing job on the background, I love the soft warm colors and how the tree kind of blends in wit everything else, makes it very pretty and it completes the image without overflowing it with unnescessary detail.
PS: I love the little dandylion plants, those are adorable

What brush did you use to get the smooth colors on her skin and clothes? I hae painter classic and I can't figure out how to get a texture like that.

Great drawing, it's got a lot of good flow and color. It's very warm, and it totally looks like summer.

OMIGOD!!!!! This is awesome, the funny thing is, the best feature in this picture is actually the bricks, and the way you have done them, everything looks totally real! I also love the girls hair, and the nice array of bright water colours in the background, very awesome stuff. And congrats on getting artist of the day, keep up the awesome work!

Ah yes, the sunset and it's colors... symbolic of the end.

One thing that makes this complete is the fact that nothing is overdone or underdone. Everything has just enough detail that makes this world seem believeable.
