King of the Red Lions
King of the Red Lions by @steefje (Stephanie Reeuwijk)

I have this nasty habit of enthousiastically (is that even a word?) starting a picture in PS, and then leaving it unfinished for months. This is a perfect example of that. I started it just after I finished the pencil version (in May) and finished it tonight (September). Oh well, at least now it's done. And it doesn't look too bad either.

This is awesome! How do you get it looking so good in PS? I have that, but I don't know how to use it very well. I tried coloring one of my pics in there yesterday and it looked awful. Keep up the good work! :-)

Practice a lot and search for tutorials on the internet, and you'll get there.

You should have seen my first pictures in PS! They were hideous! But with a lot of practicing I got better. And I am still practicing to get better.

Ohhh, that's good. It looks like what Wind Wake might've looked like if they'd stuck with the art style from the N64 Zeldas. Not that there's anything wrong with WW's style, it's just what this pic looks like, and this piece here is great. The coloring's great, especially on the water, and the characters look very much like themselves. I also like the not-quite sketchy look of the coloring. Nintendo should hire you as a concept artist or soemthing. ^_~

Keep drawing!
