Ah, that runner pic again. The shading and highlighting is being applied. The character's almost complete as far as shading and highlighting. I'm splitting my attention between the background and the character. Both have extremely complex lighting and such, and it's just a bit overwhelming when I'm looking at it and trying to figure out how to go about making the proper highlights and shadows.

Here's hoping this monstrosity will be done soon.

Whoa, the perspective is really difficult in this on - I think you pulled it off really well, though! My favourite part, oddly, is the tread on his sole - it's very shoe-like.

I like the design of the background - it leads the eye nicely.

I, too, would love to see this finished soon...

Hehe, thank you. (Sorry for the big delay in replying.)

The sole is actually my favourite part, too. The colouring and shading came out perfectly on it.

Now that I've gotten a project or three out of the way, perhaps I can finish this one.

i agree with both previous comments
So far i think the shading is really good, actually excellent, and the prespective is difficult but you've done a great job with it, its just marvellous
I don't think my advice could herlp you, cause your doing so fine, but when i try to shade something i just try to imagine the light pouring on the objects, and then add the shade where the light doesnt reach, imagine the whole volume of the object, just going over each detail i ask myself, should i shade here? lol... i think that you really dont need the advice, cause you know how to do it, but just wanted to add something! lol...
