Happy Hanukka from Neo-Israel!
Happy Hanukka from Neo-Israel! by @eli (Eli Mintzer)

This is Rabbi Gundam. He was origionally a joke Gundam I designed when Gundam.com was still around. Then Animerica hosted a G Gundam design contest so I gave him a face lift and entered him in. (See him in the Feb. 2003 issue, the one with GTO on the cover) Anyhow it's been almost a year and I was inspired to make a greeting card to celebrate the holidays.

Dude, that is awesome! Hilarious idea, and it works very well. The placement of the Star of David is ingenious and the Gundam itself is drawn expertly. The shading and lighting effects are practically flawless and the pose looks a little like a martial arts kata stance and a dance move rolled into one. I'm not Jewish, but I loved this and I hope you make more like this soon. One thing, though--- you misspelled Hannukah, a simple mistake that does not take away from the picture in any way.
