Playmates
Playmates by @bleedman (bleed man)

Just another title concept I came up with. Little girls with special toys, very special toys...the whole composition is mixed up. Guess who's toy is who's ?

I can't figure it out. Oh, well. I just can't stop looking at all of your stuff! About the tutoring thing, maybe I could E-mail you and you could tell me some things about how to draw anime [I'm hoping you help me learn your style]. Will you try Professor Membrane [Dib's dad] or what you think Dibs mom would look like? Oh by the way, I showed my little sis your PPG's pictures and she says nothing, SHE'S STARING AT YOUR STUFF!!! She's never been without words, that's how awsome you are dude!

I guess e-mailing me with any specific questions would be the best way, I can give you the tips but the rest is up to you. All the advice I will give you would be meaningless unless you do them hands-on. There are no secrets in drawing but only style, and that is for you to discover...it will take time but you are still in your early age and you have all the time.... :) practice practice practice

Good freakin' Moses, man!!! This is the coolest thing since that last page in your KOF comic (I peeked). Better, even, on account of the doll at the bottom with the vulcan guns for arms. I'd love to see a 2d fighter with these girls. Great job!

Wow! You have so much going on this image. Every single character is so well designed. If I had but half your creative genius.... wow. I really love every single one of these girls! This is a really great picture.

There are about two areas that look a little overcrowded, though on the most part you did a really remarkable job of keeping the image easy on the eyes. In the bottom left, the pink of the rabbit and the little evil teddy bear (which I totally WANT!)'s scarf are very similiar, and confuse the eye at first glance until the lines are readily apparent. Having the girl's hair pink as well as the pink dress on the other girl really puts a lot of pink in that area, so it seems a little unbalanced.

The other area is down near there, the gray of the girl's braid blends under the center of the image into more blue grays that I'm not actually sure what they are. Which leads me to my next question. Did you draw each girl seperately, and then fuse the entire thing together with layers? It's really an amazing composition, and I definetly am impressed.

I also really like the design of each of their toys. You are so creative, I can easily see you making your own designs for a videogame. Where do you get your ideas? I'm seriously incredibly impressed by your art, and how often you upload. You are definetly an artist I respect and admire!

heh. Sounds like so much brownnosing, eh? I mean it all, though!

Well, to answer your question I drew each character separately and it took quite some time in coming up with the concept. The hardest part was putting them all together, it took awhile but I think it was worth it. There are still 2 more remaining characters that I never got to finish. One has a charlie horse and the other a marionette. You'll never quess who the big boss is... the creator of playmates. Here's a clue , if you're nice you get a present but if you're naughty well.... yknow.

Have you ever thought of being a Manga-Ka? If not, you really should. Maybe this pic could start some really popular new comic book. If it were publsihed, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. As for me, yeah, I've wanted to be a Manga-Ka, but although I have my own style, I still have a lot to work on. (looking at my anime peoples, I try hard to avoid drawing hands and bare legs. I suck at it, but I'm practicing, cuz practice makes perfect.) Good job! Can't wait to see more!
