Fairy Sitting
Fairy Sitting by @Namari (Katrien van Riet)

A fairy except for the fact that she hasn't got wings, yet. I can't choose what to pick: butterfly wings, dragonflyish wings (like a fly but a little different), or something completely different? Well, I'm stumped so comments would be very much appreciated.

I used reference for this, a photo from a magazine. The pose just screamed for wings.

Ink and (cheap) coloured pencils. Haven't touched them in 3 years or so. 3 hours.

It certainly is a pose screaming for wings, maybe dragonfly wings. The skin could probably be blended better with a colored pencil blender or a marker belnder though. It would look smoother, but the shading looks great in the skin.

Thanks for the tip. I would love having a blender, but well, cheap pencils.

Ohoh. I just realize she has six toes on her left foot.

I agree, dragonfly wings would look great on her.
