That's way better than my first painting, photo ref or not. :P I like the texture of the brushstrokes a lot - it sort of reminds me of Impressionism. I think if you used the same brush technique only with a lot more paint, it would give the painting sort of a richer look to it. Unless i'm retarded and this is watercolor, in which case that idea just wouldn't work. ^^;
It looks good! I like it :D
it's a nice painting and i like how u've shaded here and there... but, the unicorn looks kinda fat, no offence :P.. maybe u should have made him more slende kinda? :-/
