The Pilgrim
The Pilgrim by @GrayWolf (Ingrid Houwers)

My piece for the music portfolio, inspired by the song 'The Pilgrim' by Celtus. Symbolizing trying to reach goals, even though others might see them as impossible.

Lyrics:

Dreams sweet dreams of a voyage in time Under purple skies your story unfolds

Sleep will come at the end of the day As the sun it fades on waters below And the courage in your hands will guide you on

Free falling morning star Like the leaves upon the wind Silvery moon above I follow you Over the rolling waves into the night And a new day dawns for the pilgrim

Ocean blue will follow you on As the motion of the waves call your name And the courage in your hands will guide you on

Free falling morning star Like the leaves upon the wind Silvery moon above I follow you Over the rolling waves into the night And a new day dawns for the pilgrim

Gaelic Lyrics Tri longa seolais in saoi tar (Three vessels the sage sailed) Tonngar mara romaoi (Over the foaming surges of the ocean) Tricha fer in cech luing lais (Twenty men in each vessel he had) Tar treathen mara mongmais (On the waves of the boisterous sea)

I like dis piece, especially the ferret for some reason. Is that a kookaburra(sp)? Awesome, don't see enough of those guys in art these days. I like the faint traces of green around the moon and trailing behind the bird's wings. Wonderful blending of colors!
