Felony at the Park
Felony at the Park by @FelonyKat (M. Bartley)

Yes, I used a photo for a background for this. I've only done it a couple of other times for complicated pictures that I just couldn't draw or mouse in a background. The picture for this can be found at www.auditoryarchitecture.com. I liked the main image of Felony here but didn't want to leave her without a background or a simple one or two colored background.

Anywho, this is Felony at Manx Municpal Park spotting something of intrest as she looks over her shades. I liked how she turned out, though as usual I draw so big that my characters' feet are always cropped off. XD Played with some shading as she's under a tree and all which I think turned out well for the most part.

Nice pose! I love how she's looking over the shades. I like the background--it looks 'cartoonish' so that Felony blends in with it well. (I mean cartoonish as in a good way, like the styles match btw) Did u use a watercolor filter to make the original pic look like that? Anyway, nice job and I love her tail bracelet! ^^
