This is a MUCH older painting, probably about two years old or more. I had never scanned it but have been lugging it around in my suitcase for just that long, hanging it up when I had a wall upon which to do so.
I was living in Bellingham and was an avid biker (yes, often in a skirt) at the time that I drew and painted this. It was inspired, a little, by E.T., but was my own personal spin on that sort of magical flight carrying one beyond the possibilities of modern assumptions/perception.
