Heartbreaking. The colors are very vivid and well-done, and both expressions are perfect. I really like the way you did the blood splatters, too. (Something I'm still working on getting right....)

studies it a bit more. Just curious, but is there any significance in the "ears" on the left ornament being spread apart? And does this picture have any additional background, like being a scene from a story or an RP? I always like illustrating story/RP scenes, so I was just wondering.

This was actually a request. I think it came down to the fact that the requester really liked Sailor Saturn, and really hated Mini Moon. I personally find my impression of blood in here to be rather juvennile. I improved a lot in that department since this picture. Generally it's darker, less shiny and more viscous. As for the ear thing, I have no idea. The picture is so old I wouldn't know why I really did anything on this picture anymore.
