This is an old version of the picture...It's been inked by now, but my scanner is a beast.

I was actually at the premier release of the sixth book with my friends when I drew this. It was late, we were kinda tired and overly warm, and it was the summer of Aliens for us...seriously, she spent five nights in a row at my house, and we made chestburster cookies.

But I digress. Anyway, the Aliens movies were on our minds. And we had to wonder....

"Since the aliens take on attributes of their host...what would happen if Harry got attacked by a face hugger?"

A magic-using Alien! How frightful! How funny! And so this was born. None of the other fans were terribly amused, by the way....

This is one of those things I put up for the sentiment, rather than for the skill I'm showing off.

The Night of the Eye is a holiday in the DragonLance world where the three moons line up in front of each other, with the smallest black moon superimposed over the middle-sized red moon superimposed over the largest white moon, forming what looks to be a giant eye in the night sky. It's a holiday for everyone, but of special importance to the mages and wizards, which explains the dressy robes.

Anyway, Gally is showing off her wonderful new clothing, and Phoenix is just floored at how dense she is. That's Dalamar up in the corner, workin' his evil with a slingshot.

Long title, no? =] This picture is based off an image I found a little while ago from one of the Magic Knight Rayearth artbooks. It was of all the guys from both seasons (except Zagato > .9; ), in neat fancy outfits. And I got the sudden and unexpected inspiration to draw all my Irken guys like that. Since I soon counted and discovered there was a neat one-to-one match going on and that even the height ratios were nearly perfect. ; Nearly. Okay, so here's the original picture, so you all can see and I can give credit where credit is due:
[link] As you can see, being that these people are humans and thus...uhhh...less stick thin (~.~;; ), they're clustered together better than my guys are. 9.9 However I still think the effect is nice, even though I had to move Red over 'cause Kelt's antennae were in the way--OMG that is THE biggest issue when drawing Irkens in a group. O_O Where to put all the antennae. e.e;

Anyway, I should probably go 'round and name everybody so those who haven't met them will know. u.u;; The top three tall guys are, of course, my trio of hot Tallests--Maroon, Red, and Purple. Notice how Red's the only one in the whole group who's got the Irken equivalent of a 'tan.' ;; I'm particularly proud of how I changed Pur's pose to make use of the gaping empty space. =] That scarf thingy is neat. Moving on, the orange-eye is Red's kid Kioshi, who is the youngest and easily the cutest one on here, with that hat of his. To give ya'll a sense of height proportion, Kio's as tall as I am (right now, gods know he'll get taller eventually when his growth spurt hits 9.9; ). Next to him, looking like the evil, appraising, arrogant person he is, is Emmissary Kelt. You might remember him as being 'the bastard son of Zim and Maroon' (meaning that he's culture-obsessed, but also has no problem destroying things that annoy him 9.9;;;; ). I'm glad that the height matches put him in the middle, 'cause otherwise his completely non-red eye color might've unbalanced the composition. To his right and shorter by a foot and a half is Div, the Imperial Guard from 'Almighty Spring Break.' =] He's the quietest of the group and looks sort of worried that something awful is going to happen when the others inevitably start arguing. The leering twins in the left corner are Kelt's minions Fen and Vio, aka 'Hey! What are you doing over there? I thought I told you to sstop making signs that say I think people are hot!' They're so mischievous. ^-^ I also don't think anyone's met them yet...no wait, I think AF did once. o.o While Sam was trying to proposition their boss. 9.9 I think. *shrug* Anyway, rounding out the group is, of course, the Zim, who is doing his 'You wouldn't believe how long my tongue is. >]' smile, mostly for my benefit. 9.9; Eheheh. I still think he's the sexiest out of the bunch, but I know I'm biased. And hey, he's in Clef's spot in the picture, so of course he's gonna look spiff. u.u; Clef rocks your socks.

And that's it! All you girls who are, I know, drooling out there, had better appreciate the hours of work that went into this! ;.; You don't know how long it takes to get all that detail in, first with pencil, then with ink, then with color! Waaaaaaahhhh--wait. o.o Cute guys. *stares at own picture* X]==---- Life is good.

u.u The class of '50! Ain't we cool? I messed up the heights real bad... Kat's supposed to be the tallest one :D;; And AF apparently has stilts on or something. But other than that, I like this picture.

We've all been though alot, and we're all doing so many great things... And we've recently crossed another bump in the road, but we got though it fine. So, no matter what we decide to do with our lives.. we'll be okay. We'll keep on going, no matter what. ^.^ Ah LOVES YOU GUYS! ;.;!

Asher and Eve both drew a picture like this for me. For Mother's Day. And.. I wanted Asher to try and draw it though me, and he did. u.u So if you want to get into it, me and my headkids all did it together. :B Eve added the neat colortints and Asher drew it though me. Too much of my own style got mixed in with his though. ; Sorry, honey. 9.9

That probably didn't make any sense but TOO BAD. I'm going to use this as a new ID. >:d

This is to commemorate the transferrance to my head of someone I've held dear for years. His wife, my otherself, is just beside herself with glee right now at this moment, but eventually...I know there'll be a scene like this. Just a quiet embrace with no typing fingers in between them.

Finally.

...yes I know it's sketchy. I left it that way, without ink, on purpose because I liked how it looked and thought that ink would take away from the softness I wanted to convey. The background is made up of a bunch of these things called 'lace flowers' that I learned how to make from a tutorial. It's a lot simpler than it looks, really. Also, the title is yanked from a Jethro Tull song that has nothing at all to do with this apart from having a cool title. The song itself is downright sad...and while it will in about 50 or 60 years' time apply to this couple, it certainly doesn't now. 6.6 The title though...is pretty much perfect.

*sigh* I don't have anything much else to say. The pic speaks for itself. -.-
