Janus Zephyr is the grey and blue phoenix tailed cat of mine. He's the same age as Nuka, for the most part. Shy and insecure, Janus tends to keep to himself in an effort to blend into the background so that no one will notice him. He's just not good at dealing with people... at all. Highly unaggressive, avoiding tough situations is about the only option he has, as he can't bring himself to stick up for what he feels (he'd hate to think he's disappointing anyone.). All he really wants is to please everyone all of the time, but he hasn't come to grips with just how impossible that is. He's an idealist, but it's a nice contrast for the crude and more ruthless life outlook of Nuka, his best friend. Despite their differences the two boys are very close. Nuka tends to stick up for Janus a lot of the time, and generally, give the boy more life. He hopes that one day he can get his friend to the point that he's capable of thinking of himself instead of constantly self-sacrificing and ending up unsatisfied because of that. (On a side note, Janus's mother absolutely despises Nuka, seeing him as a lowlife urchin whom will do nothing but keep Janus out of those ivy league schools she planned to have him attend. Despite this, Janus keeps his friendship with Nuka, I think he realizes despite what his mother says, that they do need each other.).
