SD3 10 Year Anniversary Commemoration
SD3 10 Year Anniversary Commemoration by @smarle (Staci/Nadia)

I'm a huge fan of Seiken Densetsu 3, and when I saw Japanese fan artists posting cute commemoration drawings for the game's 10 year anniversary, I got inspired to do one myself! I had a few ideas, but I decided to go with the quickest one so it wouldn't be super-late, as pictures tend to be with me... ^^;;;;

This pic is inspired by screenshots of various games from the Seiken series of rabis about to chomp something. So here is a rabi about to chomp an anniversary cake... ^-^ This was drawn and colored with a tablet in Painter Essentials 2. With the limited tools in this program, it was tough drawing the cake and coloring both the cake and the rabi, but the grass and candle flames were pretty fun to work on... Not to mention actually being able to write was pretty neat... ;)

As an interesting side note, I actually forgot the rabi's ear and didn't realize it till Red pointed it out to me after I'd already posted it on my website... ^^;;;;; I actually DID something about what I'd forgotten this time instead of just leaving it... What kind of rabi fan would I be if I left the poor thing without its big floppy ear? ;_; BTW, fixing already set colors in Essentials is NOT fun... ^^;;;

grin That's great. Gotta love the Rabites. He's going to need to open his jaws a little bit more to fit that cake in, though!

Hee, thanks! ^-^ I kinda imagined the rabi not quiiiiiite being able to fit the whole side into its mouth. Still gonna be a pretty big bite, though, ne? ;)
