ABC went fully computerized with their new ident in 1986, which featured a much more prominent orange backdrop and new white arrows around the triangle. The surrounding arrows turned out to be presenting a certain region - top left to Northwest, top right to Yorkshire, and below Midlands. Dubbed "Arrows" or "Blinds", these unfortunately didn't last long...
