Illia
Illia by @smarle (Staci/Nadia)

This is Illia, the character I created for my first D&D campaign! She's an Evoker who was going to become an Air Savant, eventually becoming an air elemental. Unfortunately, the campaign died out... ;_; However, Illia herself will continue to exist, since I'm adding her as a minor character to my manga idea. She won't possess the same abilities as in the D&D campaign, but her story will remain essentially the same. By the way, the little bunny under her arm is Fluffy, her familiar, who was also going to become an air elemental. Go, Elemental Familiar!

My scanner is broken at the moment, so I can't ink and upload the picture for coloring, but I'm digitally inking it instead. I'll put up the finished version as soon as it's done!

Cuteness! I can't wait to see your CG of good ol' "Tent". Her facial expression looks very kind and earnest, and how could I not love her hat? Anyway, I do have one suggestion for the CG -- you might want to try to use a cute fabric pattern or texture on the dress to make it even prettier and more ... uh ... "dress-like". Maybe a colorful trim or something -- just an idea, I think that would look very pretty on Illia. ^_^ Good luck with your CGing!

LOL, Tent... I love that nickname... Don't forget Little Tent there! Hmmmm, for color, I was thinking black, and maybe a white top or vest... Do you really think a pattern would be better...?

Heh heh... "Tent"... Remind me to [twak] Ruser one more time. :p

Well, it's definately cheerful and cute! I can't wait for you to CG this! ^^

Very nicely done! I particularly like her hair, not to mention the hat. Could you possibly make it a bit bigger? Just kidding. ;)

But, yes, it's coming along quite nicely! I'm sure you already know this, and I'm sure it's far to early for me to say anything like this anyway, but Illia will just need a bit of touching up before CGing. I'm just bringing it up because that's the only thing I can really comment on since everything else is very well done! Good job! :D

Bigger? LOL, I had to have her hold the hat up so it wouldn't be in her eyes... ^^;;; Gee, I wonder how she sees with that thing...? O_o;;

The picture is a little blurry, but it's pretty good! My only comment is that the face seems kind of fat... kind of like that one Momo picture you did. I still love it, though! Hopefully Illia becomes a beautiful air elemental in your manga, and she plays out whatever role you wanted her to in Ruser's D&D campaign. I hope the character you make for my campaign is just as memorable and earns a spot in your manga, too. ;)

Yeah, it is pretty blurry... ^^;;; I think it's just the way I pencil sketch combined with having a feeder scanner and .jpg compression... O_o;; Probably why I very rarely ever just do a sketch... ^^;;; Her face is fat here, too? Hmmmmm, maybe it's just my style for faces to be like that... O_o;;; I like high cheekbones... ^^;;

Sadly, Illia won't be becoming a sylph or fairy in my manga (the air elementals I have). But she'll have a happy forest life, and hopefully Fluffy will be there with her... Waaaaaaiiiii! :D

Illia's such a cutie, I think Ilsyn might've been attracted to her if she weren't so ditzy. Instead he looked at her more as a little sister who needed looking after.

Yeah, this copy of the image is blurry and it does need some cleaning up, but that's no real issue; you were just making it fit in the gallery. Bunny's so cuuuuuuuuute.

Yeah, Illia was definitely someone who needed looking after... ^^;;;;

Evil blurriness... Maybe next sketch, I should make a .gif... O_o;;; Hee, you should see all the little bunnies I used to draw in my notebooks in college... ^^;;;
