Faith by @Kooshmeister (Bill Hiers)

Fernald praying, devout Christian that he is. His faith means a lot to him and he feels very close to God, no matter what happens to him. He was raised by evangelical Christian parents, but is a very loving and gentle soul who comes to reject his fundamentalist pastor's fire-and-brimstone "God hates fags" rhetoric and generally just loves everyone. Basically, he's a sap. But a sweetheart. This was drawn because I wanted to see what his head looked like from the side as opposed to straight on like in other pics and because even though I am primarily a Deist I find religious faith without hate to be a beautiful thing.
