DYOS 11: THE HAAAAAX!

Hitting on a HUNK
Hitting on a HUNK by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

My 56th submission to DYOS XI. [link]

This was my final comic done in Gmod 12, and I'm glad I finished before upgrading: I've had metaphorical hell trying to import the old addons to the new build, with the result that I haven't been able to use it for any serious cartooning since. Underscoring how badly my productivity declined last year, I'd started this before everyone else began plugging PSY in DYOS. Those guys were tricky to pose, but totally worth it.

HUNK was introduced midway through the thread after Pul Wat Aa split from Wesker; his primary job was to off the Hacker, but he made a truce with CivGeneral to take on Lucifer first. (Needless to say, the story had other ideas.) With Umbrella's collapse, the defeat of the Hacker and the stall of the Lucifer arc, he entered into a limbo that I decided some time before to resolve, partly because he was a forgettable character and partly because I was in the mood for some existential black comedy. Now, one could make the case that as the model used here is a Combine One Hour War soldier, DYOS HUNK wasn't the HUNK.

Map and models created/ported by various Facepunchers I'm too lazy to list at the moment.

You'd never think giving yourself a voice-over would be so dangerous. How did he drink with that mask on?
