Irken Clothes
Irken Clothes by @lynne (Lynne)

MADNESS! Okay, this is my interpretation of how Irken clothing works. Based on AF's Soldier/Student Irkens. The Soldier uniform, Student outfit, Soldier tux, Student tux, and Tallest apparel. I kinda messed up on the Soldier uniform.. they DO wear pants over the undersuit, I just forgot to draw them 9.9

The undersuit, is just that, all Irkens wear them.. and then wear their various uniforms or outfits over them. These aren't the only outfits in the society, some stations wear ropes or other apparel, and in that case they too would go over the undersuit thingey. Or the spacesuit, for example, goes on in the Voot and pretty much just unpacks itself onto the Irken in question.

Irken clothes are all unisex.. there's no differentation in clothing between genders. (Discrimination in this society is between class, not gender.. which is hardly noticed, especially since Irkens are reproduced in tubes). I would think the clothes all fasten at the back.. and it fastens seamlessly, around the backpod (which would otherwise get in the way).

Clothes are all the same.. and every Irken has what they need for every occasion according to their class and station and all that. Student clothes differ from each other only in color, and Soldier clothes are all the same.. except in the case of those occasional independents, like Tak, or those who aren't part of the society anymore, like Dai (HE wears boxers ^.^).

Okay, that's long enough, I be quiet now. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Lynne Stephenson

Muy cool! I may use this as a reference should I ever have an adventure involving a visit to the Massive or whatnot...heeeeey, now that's an idea...then I'd be the alien and Zim'd have to always be explainin' stuff to me! What a switch! Heh...you don't mind if I make mention of these clothes, do ya? If'n I ever do, I'll make sure to put in somethin' like, 'If ya'll wanna know what this looks like (and see really cool pictures of it all), please visit my pal Maniacal Dragon's gallery at . Okay? ^^ Heheh...boxers...that reminds me of Red-sama and his huge pants--good thing he also has an affinity for huge team jerseys...I have no desire to find out what kinda undergarments that dude wears. OO goes insane at the thought of this The horrah! It's so cool and...cool that you created all this--Irk sure is a regimented society, isn't it? Ah, well, when your main objective is to subject other societies to your will, you've kinda gotta have a collective will to subject them to. Isn't it strange to think that even Earth, with all its conformity, isn't that bad? It's no wonder the Tallest are having so much fun playing with Zim's disguise machine lately...they've never really had the chance to dress any differently. Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't be so miffed at them for always holding us up when we want to go places. 'I've gotta make myself a new hat!' Ahh...maybe not.
