This one I am proud of, simply because of the work in his chainmail shirt. I wanted to make sure I didn't just wuss my way out of doing chainmail and spent the hour and half doing all the links individually. I think it was worth it.

The whole thing came out really well in pencil, but when I colored it in, it just really came alive.

Yeah, the detailing was worth it. With the chainmail and the rest of the costume--the knoted belt, the detailing of the shield--this looks like one of the more authentic portraits of a feudal warrior on the site. Inelegant, cobbled together armor, visible joints/seams/contruction details...

Looks awesome.
