The Simpsons Writer's Block
The Simpsons Writer's Block by @deaddays (John Rios)

Alright, I'm not all that happy with this one for alot of reasons. One reason is that I don't believe the point being made by this piece. I merely made it to run with a story talking about how the writers from the best show ever produced, "THE SIMPSONS" are thinking of calling it quits before the show's writing goes stale. I don't hate The Simpsons. In fact, I have a very unhealthy obsession with The Simpsons so there. Oh, and second, I don't think I could have drawn it as good as I could have. But hey, I only had, like, 3 hours to think of an idea, draw it and turn it in. Then they didn't use it. They might use it later, and I hope to draw a WAY better version of this in the future. Thanks for listening! Man I typed alot! Artwork © Copyright 2002 John Rios

GAWD! I HATE this piece! Man, I promise to make it better some day soon! Why did I post it? I'm ashamed of it! Damn it! Alright, I promise not to give you, my loyal readers (yeah right) any more crap. Man this drawing isn't worth you uploading it. If you're reading this and it's not uploaded yet, LEAVE NOW! To read my last Dead Days or something. Thanks. -Love, JOHN RIOS

Hm. I think the reason it's, er, not as good as it could be, is because its an unhealthy reminder of a scary fact. The Simpsons are beging to feel dragged out. Sure, Im a HUGE fan, but I don't wan't to think of it like a wounded creature clinging to life. It was such a awsome show, and now it's put out just for the hell of it. Oh crap, gone and made myself depressed. Anyway, your arts great, so please keep making more.

What the hell are you talking about?! That's bleeping brilliant! Look at fat groening standing there staring at the block. It's frickin' funny! :P

I do have to say that the simpsons aren't what they used to be. I don't really find the new episodes as funny as the older ones. It's normal for creative juices to dry up after so many years. I think it's wise to end the show now. sheds a tear for homer
