Ariel and Scrue In a Realistic Art Style
Ariel and Scrue In a Realistic Art Style by @nukascrue (Melissa Jewell)

A few nights ago I had a dream with Ariel and Scrue in it. It really struck me, not because they did anything particularly impressive during it, but because they looked so pefectly realistic in it. I really felt like I could just meet them on the streets and they'd be as natural as you or me. This picture was drawn to try and capture a bit of that feeling the dream gave me. Overall, I really loved how this turned out. I only wish that the scanner had picked up more of the fine lines on Scrue, and that I hadn't forgotten Ariel's earrings. Also, I wish I remembered how to color over pencil sketches with colored pencils and have it look okay. Oh well, I still love it so ^_^
