Elfgirl Trenia
Elfgirl Trenia by @freakyrockfox (Jim Russo)

I felt like drawing one of my lesser known human characters. In this case, an elfgirl named Trenia.

Trenia (C) Jim Russo 2006.

Cute character. The colours in this one really stood out in the thumbnail. I like the exaggerated pose and her expression. The different flaws you gave her outfit, like the tears in her stockings and the petal coming off the flower in her hair, give her a flawed look that says a lot about the character. A little more shading and some brighter highlights on the hair would help this picture really stand out. Very nice as it is. I really like the background. How did you get that effect?

Thank you for your comment and sorry for the late reply. ^^;

Hmm...its kinda hard to describe how I got the effect in the background. I use photoshop 8, so what I did was make a plain blue background, then I used a brush effect that creates a light leaf effect. So I gave a lighter blue color to the leaf brush and went over the already solid blue background with it. Hope that helps.^^;
