@Thorvald: Yeah, it's kinda an easy thing to come up with - the first three letters in the alphabet.😜 The US, UK (which had 2), Australia, Japan, even Phillippines had one.
ABC Weekend North (1969) by @WestKnightTV (West Knight)
What if ABC continued broadcasting after 1968? How would the presentation on screen be any different? Let's go on a trip into a different future, and you'll see...
ABC was very confident in the 1968 franchise round. Contrary to popular speculations, all weekend franchises were kept intact, despite the split of the North into North West and Yorkshire. Backed with hits like The Avengers and Callan, they successfully maintained all of their franchises in the Midlands, North West and the new Yorkshire Weekend region.
To celebrate, they re-orchestrated their signature tune, and put the triangle symbol in a rounded box. This new look was seen in the North, where the purple and yellow became their distinct identity for the next decade.
