Big Bad Bow Hunter Man
Big Bad Bow Hunter Man by @rui (Sarah Beth)

This was a little something I was playing with. Drew all the lines in Illustrator, colored in Photoshop. I really like how he came out! Yes, it's a guy. I figure it would be funny to have an Amazon type of group that all look female, but they are definatly male and act it as well. shrugs it's an idea in progress!

This is so awesome! I love his expression! It totally says "hi. I'm a guy. Yeah. I know. I'm wearing pink and purple. Bite me." The coloring job is extremely unique--I like it a lot! What tools in Photoshop did you use to color this? I've never really seen anything that's turned out as textured and shiny as this guy is. A generic jungle background would be great for this, though... something to break up the monotony of the white. The hand also needs a bit of work--right now it doesn't have much shape to it. It would look better, I think, if the fingers were outlined in black seperately--right now it looks a bit like a flesh-colored mitten. Anyways, awesome shading, funny and great character design--a very nice pic. :)

Aye, I completely agree with the hand... and the jungle background is something I'm going to have to try. I mainly used paintbucket and paint brushes to do all his coloring. My hand is killing me.....Whimper the joys and the pains of the almighty art tablet.....ouch....
