In love with death
In love with death by @deaddays (John Rios)

A very personal piece I did for the collegian. Too bad it's not personal to me! A writer wrote a really touching piece about a relationship he had with someone who was terminally ill. I tired to capture the emotion in a silhouette, added a dash or symbolism, a pinch of somberness, let it cook for about 20 minutes, and voila! A really delicious vegatable soup that the whole family will enjoy. Thanks Mrs. Stewart. Artwork © Copyright 2002 John Rios

I really like this one... it looks like your recipe for melancholy goes well with pasta. As always your technique is wonderful and the attention to detail possible with such bold, confident strokes is fantastic.
