Yes, it actually does resemble your friend. However, you'll notice in the picture that her lips are much wider, and they reach farther across the left side of her face. 3/4 view thing... I personally can't draw people though, so I'm looking at this saying "WHOA... O.O" Hee hee. Good work. It's nice.
