Well, this was inspired by Jaime's drawings of Zim and GIR as dragons... her interpretation is a bit more literal than mine (it's green, for example) but on the long ride up to Bangor today the thought occured to me.. Zim.. as a dragon.. hmm.. and I knew what Jaime had come up with wasn't it.. and this was. Dunno why.. just was.. ^.^

I used airbrush on a plain sketch to color this.. I like how it came out. I think it looks much better than the way I usually color things nowadays.. although this way also takes me twice as long.. even though I got lazy and didn't really finalize this picture.. This is BEAUTIFUL! And it's right, too. I mean, you can TELL it's Zim! It has the same small-but-dangerous look, and even the antennae are there! ^_^
