No, she isn't actually dying, but she's in a helluva lot of pain. Don't really know what the context is, but I think Kriss lost some of her powers, and had to force her wings out, hence the wound and all the bleeding. Drew this at like one a.m. last night, but I really love it. I wish I hadn't put the grass in there, it doesn't fit in with the rest of the colors.
