o here it is, completed. I had hoped to get the two smaller images done as well, but it didn't work out -- this took me the entire month and about 50 hours to complete. At least it wasn't totally marker work, and that time included sketches, doodles, and layout time, unlike Catharsis, which was straight out 100+ hours of nothing but pencils, inks, and colour.

Will scan it when I get the mat done, because it's going to be an arch with a couple of simple swirls in the top part of the mat for a little decoration. I can't believe I ended up with the Nielsen 24 profile once again -- I think that might end up being the official Apocrypha frame for my work, since it's on both Catharsis and Broken Wing already, as well as Mojave Dusk, though those were bottom mats on those two and it's the top mat on this one. I really wanted to use this great Art Noveau-type frame from Larson-Juhl, the same profile but not colour I used on ~jmercedesd's "Fallen Twins" picture, but it just didn't work out right.

I was going for Art Noveau style, inspired, of course, by Alphonse Mucha.
